Services — Audit support
Audit-ready books, before the auditor asks.
Reconciliations done, schedules prepared, and someone in the room who can answer the hard questions during fieldwork.
What’s included
Included
- Pre-audit reconciliation of every balance sheet account
- Supporting schedules prepared for fixed assets, receivables, payables and inventory
- Coordination with your external auditor on information requests
- Correction of discrepancies found before fieldwork begins, not during it
- Presence during fieldwork to answer questions on the books directly
- A draft management representation letter, prepared for your review before you sign it
Not included
- The audit itself — we are not your statutory auditor and won't issue an audit opinion; that has to come from an independent, licensed audit firm
- SECP filing of audited accounts — that's your external auditor's role, not ours
- Ongoing bookkeeping — this assumes books already exist to reconcile; see Bookkeeping if they don't yet
- Representing you in a tax dispute — see Tax filing

Who does the work
A senior accountant who wasn't part of your monthly bookkeeping reviews the books independently first — a second set of eyes catches what the first one missed, before your auditor does.
What we need from you
- Your confirmed audit start date and the auditor's information request list, as soon as you have it
- Access to the underlying books, whether they're ours or kept elsewhere
- Last year's audit report and management letter, if this isn't your first audit
- A named contact who can respond within a day or two during fieldwork
Pricing
Priced per engagement, based on how much needs reconciling and how many schedules your auditor requires — scoped after we've actually seen your books, not before.
