EZ Accounts

Privacy policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

This policy explains what information EZ Accounts collects when you use this website or our software, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to visitors to this site and to businesses using EZ POS, EZ CRM, EZ ERP or EZ Books. It doesn't cover data you or your accountant enter into your own books — that's addressed separately in your services agreement.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form or book a demo, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.

When you use EZ POS, EZ CRM, EZ ERP or EZ Books, we process the business data you enter — sales, customers, stock, and financial records — on your behalf, as your service provider, not as the owner of that data.

Like most websites, our server logs basic technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

Contact form and demo booking information is used to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to set up and support your account.

Business data processed through our software is used solely to provide the software's function to you — recording a sale, updating stock, generating a report — and for nothing else without your knowledge.

Technical log data helps us keep the site and software running reliably and secure.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data or your clients' data to anyone, under any circumstances.

Where a service genuinely requires a third party — email delivery for the contact form, for instance — that provider only receives what's necessary to perform that specific function, and is bound to use it for nothing else.

We may disclose information if legally required to do so by a Pakistani court or regulatory authority with proper jurisdiction.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records, then deleted.

Business data in our software is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable retention period after closure consistent with standard accounting record-keeping practice, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and no legal obligation requires us to retain it.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain certain records.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details on the Contact page.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or applicable law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly, not just posted quietly here.
